Batu Caves--Selangor

Batu Caves are a wonder in themselves. They are a number of limestone hills which has form the caves. The constant falling of water has shaped the caves within the hills. The interior of the caves are naturally white, light green and semi-orange in colour. The main cave which a very huge one consists of three temples of Murugan (Kartikeya). Another temple inside seemed to be closed for repairs.
I took a train from Bank Nigara Station at Kuala Lumpur and Batu Caves was the ultimate destination of the train as well.
It took around 40-45 minutes by train. It was beautiful seeing the scenic beauty of Malaysia.

This is just outside the station. I have snapped the picture from the side of the Batu Caves.

Penang-Rickshaws

It is interesting to note that Penang has its own style of rickshaws. It is low and comfortable and the passengers have a clear view before them.
